We want to articulate the process and integrity that has gone into designing and creating our copper products. We are aware that copper can sit on both sides of the health pendulum.

In one respect, it’s a natural product, from Mother Earth. It holds incredible powers which have been appreciated by civilisations for centuries. Our ancestors instinctively knew the power of copper and understood it had life-changing and preserving qualities. Its story was profound and true and passed from civilisation to civilisation, with no science behind it. Just an innate knowledge, and the living proof of its power.

On the other hand, there is the modern need for Science to prove to us often what we already know and feel is strong.

We understand that might seem innocuous, but we believe that deep down we all know when something makes us feel good and helps us heal. Whatever your beliefs, we are offering it all, take your pick, the science, your inner knowing, history or Auyervadic beliefs. They all say the same thing, Copper is one of the most powerful and intriguing elements known to man. Either way there is so much information out there for all to see, in 2022 we need to start trusting our own knowing, moral compass or old fashioned gut instinct. With this in mind, we really believe in the benefits and power of copper. This little known element, 29 on the periodic table, a transition metal that can bridge the elements, is not going anywhere. If anything, its true brilliance and power is starting to shine once again for all to see.

Copper is one of the most powerful and intriguing elements known to man.

Because our products are touching your skin, or are in your water, we are passionate about the purity of the copper we use. Pretty quickly we realised we had to produce our own copper bricks out of pure copper pellets.

Most copper sheets are machine-made out of a low percentage of copper and other alloys like tin, brass and many more. You would think to yourself… how hard is it to make a copper product? To just cut up some copper sheet and stamp your name on it? Well, think again. We knew we had to make our own copper bricks, but knowing how to do it was a whole other journey.

For our slice to pack a powerful punch we were only prepared to add 1% brass (alloys) (we need to work out the percentage here) to help the casting process along. Casting 100% Copper as we discovered is near impossible – we should know, we’ve tried SO many times! A member of our team, Made (pronounced Madaay) was fundamental in this process, and we persevered to find the most sustainable copper we could find. Months of different casting combinations, to create the perfect pour, he helped find us artisans to mill the bricks of copper, hand beat the slices and hammer our logo into the soft, raw material. Eventually, six individual craftsmen later, we had worked it out.
